Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all appointments, treatments and services provided by Nocturne Piercings.
By booking or attending an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Consent & Age Requirements, Aftercare Information and any other policies published by Nocturne Piercings.These Terms & Conditions are designed to protect both the client and Nocturne Piercings, while ensuring that all services are carried out safely, professionally and in accordance with current industry standards.Appointments & BookingsAppointments should be booked in advance through the approved booking methods provided by Nocturne Piercings.
A booking is not considered confirmed until any required deposit has been received and confirmation has been issued.
Appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Clients are encouraged to arrive promptly to allow sufficient time for consultation, consent procedures, anatomy assessment and the piercing procedure itself.
Nocturne Piercings reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where these Terms & Conditions have not been met.DepositsA deposit is required when booking all piercing appointments unless otherwise stated.
Deposits secure the appointment time and are deducted from the total cost of the piercing on the day of the appointment.
Deposits are fully refundable where an appointment is cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments where the client fails to attend without notice, will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Where sufficient notice has been provided, deposits may be transferred to a new appointment at the discretion of Nocturne Piercings.
Consultations and selected non-piercing appointments may not require a deposit.Cancellations & ReschedulingClients who need to cancel or rearrange an appointment should contact Nocturne Piercings as soon as reasonably possible.
Providing adequate notice allows appointment spaces to be offered to other clients.
Repeated late cancellations or repeated failure to attend appointments may result in future bookings requiring full payment in advance or being declined entirely.
Nocturne Piercings reserves the right to reschedule appointments where circumstances beyond reasonable control make this necessary.Late Arrival PolicyClients should arrive on time for their appointment.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being shortened, rescheduled or cancelled if there is insufficient time to safely complete the procedure.
Late arrivals may result in the loss of the booking deposit where applicable.Prices & PaymentAll prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).
Payment is due immediately following completion of the appointment.

Prices may change without prior notice; however, confirmed appointments will be honoured at the price quoted at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.Age Requirements & IdentificationClients must meet the minimum age requirements for the requested piercing.
Where required, valid original photographic identification must be produced before treatment can proceed.
Accepted forms of identification include:
Passport
UK Driving Licence
UK Provisional Driving Licence
PASS-approved Proof of Age Card
Photographs, screenshots or photocopies of identification will not be accepted.
Clients under the age of 18 must attend with their parent or legal guardian.
Where appropriate, proof of parental responsibility or legal guardianship may also be requested.
Failure to provide satisfactory identification or consent will result in the appointment being cancelled.Medical InformationClients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Medical conditions
Allergies
Current medications
Pregnancy
Recent illness
Previous complications with piercings
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase the risk of complications.
Nocturne Piercings accepts no responsibility for complications arising from information that has not been disclosed.Illness PolicyThe health and wellbeing of all clients remains a priority.
Clients must not attend appointments if they are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.
This includes (but is not limited to):
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Fever
Flu-like symptoms
Contagious infections
Appointments should only be attended once clients have been symptom-free for a minimum of 48 hours.
Clients who become unwell before their appointment should contact Nocturne Piercings as soon as possible to rearrange their booking.Anatomy AssessmentsEvery client will receive an anatomy assessment before any piercing is performed.
Anatomy differs significantly between individuals and not every person is suitable for every piercing.
Where a piercing is considered unsuitable, unsafe or unlikely to heal successfully, Nocturne Piercings reserves the right to decline treatment.
Alternative placements or piercing options may be discussed where appropriate.JewelleryFresh piercings are performed using implant-grade titanium jewellery unless otherwise agreed.
Jewellery is selected according to the client's anatomy and the requirements of the piercing being performed.
Clients may not supply their own jewellery for fresh piercings.
Jewellery changes and downsizing appointments will only be carried out where the piercer considers it safe to do so.Aftercare & HealingClients are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided by Nocturne Piercings.
Healing times vary significantly depending upon:
Piercing type
Individual anatomy
General health
Lifestyle
Compliance with aftercare advice
No guarantee can be given regarding healing times or final outcomes.
Complications resulting from failure to follow aftercare advice remain the responsibility of the client.Follow-Up AppointmentsClients are encouraged to attend any recommended follow-up appointments.
Certain piercings require jewellery downsizing following the initial healing period.
Failure to attend recommended downsizing appointments may increase the likelihood of irritation, prolonged healing or other complications.Photography & RecordingClient privacy is respected at all times.
Photography or filming by clients or accompanying persons is not permitted without the prior permission of Nocturne Piercings.
Clients may choose whether photographs are taken.
Clinical photographs may be taken where appropriate for treatment records.
Marketing photographs will only be taken and published where separate written consent has been provided.Right to Refuse TreatmentNocturne Piercings reserves the absolute right to refuse or postpone treatment where this is considered necessary for the health, safety or wellbeing of the client.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Unsuitable anatomy
Failure to provide valid identification
Lack of appropriate consent
Medical concerns
Intoxication
Aggressive, abusive or inappropriate behaviour
Failure to comply with treatment room policies
Any circumstance where proceeding would be considered unsafe or unethicalLimitation of LiabilityNocturne Piercings undertakes all treatments with reasonable skill, care and attention.
However, clients acknowledge that body piercing carries inherent risks, including but not limited to swelling, bruising, bleeding, irritation, migration, rejection, delayed healing and infection.
Nocturne Piercings cannot accept responsibility for complications arising from:
Failure to follow aftercare advice.
Undisclosed medical conditions.
Failure to attend recommended follow-up appointments.
Jewellery removed or changed without professional advice.
Trauma, accidents or improper care after leaving the appointment.
Individual variations in healing.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under applicable consumer legislation.Website InformationInformation published on the Nocturne Piercings website is intended for general guidance only.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure information remains accurate and up to date, advice provided during consultations and appointments will always take precedence.
Clients are encouraged to contact Nocturne Piercings directly should they require clarification regarding any information published online.Promotions & Special OffersUnless otherwise stated, promotional offers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
Only one promotional offer may be applied per appointment.
Nocturne Piercings reserves the right to amend or withdraw promotions without prior notice.PrivacyPersonal information is collected, processed and stored in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Policy.
By booking an appointment, clients consent to the collection and processing of information necessary to provide safe treatment and fulfil legal obligations.AmendmentsNocturne Piercings reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The most recent version will always be available on our website.Governing LawThese Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
